Progress Updates (4 total)
Update #1: Achieve Spanish literacy at the B2 level
I have wanted to improve my Spanish literacy for some time, in order to read some of my favorite authors in the original Spanish.
Update #2: I noticed while taking the B2 test that I struggled with future tenses, so I found a site to practice.
10% completeNeed to particularly practice subjunctive vs future and preterite vs past imperfect.
Update #3: Found an app that provides Spanish reading practice based on proficiency levels that works better than any I’ve tried
15% completeI’ve tried a lot of language learning apps and have not found one as perfect as this for my specific purpose of improving reading. The grammar guidance that goes with each story is helping me review text constructions and verb tenses. App is smooth and functional.
Update #4: Practice reading and increase vocab every day
25% completeI’ve been using Readle and Unedo to read short articles every day. Readle includes the ability to select B2 level text and review grammatical structures before or after reading and look up unknown words. Unedo includes vocab games related to the reading content. Neither app is for beginning Spanish, and both focus on reading comprehension, which is exactly what I wanted in order to advance this goal.
