Update #1: finish my book by NYE
10% completeneed to finish the book before 2026 in order to meet my reading goals- I started it this morning
Challenges Overcome: I've already read 24 books this year but my goal was 25 and last year I failed by 1 book so let's not have a repeat
Obstacles Faced: I'm off my regular bus commute with the holiday this week so I fear that will stymie my progress (since I normally read on the way to work)
Looking Back: you too can read 1 single book
Update #2: on page 184
60% completea little over halfway done and only 24 hours to go- going to be tight but doing my best!
Obstacles Faced: had trouble staying motivated without my normal routine and now it's down to the wire like last year (& last year I failed)
Update #3: finished it but 1 day late ☹️
100% completedidn't pull it off for NYE! Spent New Year's Day finishing the book instead
but if it was a leap year I would have done it!
Challenges Overcome: still read 24 books this year so a win nonetheless
Obstacles Faced: needed to invest more time over Christmas reading it and I just didn't want to. Did not set myself up for success!
Looking Back: best to stay ahead of it and not leave 140 pages on New Year's Eve
