Update #1: Create a logo for Opus

I’m currently using my first idea for a logo, drawn by @dgleason. It’s a cup, symbolizing cafe, with a book coming out of the steam, to symbolize knowledge. To me, books are the peak proof of learning and experience. However, I feel that the logo is missing a sense of community. I’ve hired a bunch of graphic designers online, but they haven’t been able to capture what I’m looking for yet. So, I have been messing around with some digital art software (drawing is not my forte); maybe I can come up with something that resonates better. I never really imagined myself even learning to draw (and I can barely draw a stick figure), but here we are.

Update #2: Three people reading a book (someone’s Goal)

One of the concepts to show more community is people gathered around someone’s Goal to learn from it. It’s kind of ugly, but that might just be my drawing skills.

Update #3: Different worldly things coming out of a book

I think this is my favorite so far, which really represents how I feel here. The possibilities are endless; a ton of interesting and valuable information could be here.

Update #4: New Logo- For Now

100% complete
I wanted to represent "progress steps"- and this is what I came up with. Something simple, but with meaning. Can be refined even more later. Shoutout @BaTe for the ideation session in New Zealand.
Challenges Overcome: I feel this logo capture a few powerful concepts- "steps up towards your Goal", triangle, the strongest shape and simplicity.
Obstacles Faced: Perfection being the enemy of excellence. My drawing ability. Logo could maybe use some color.
