Update #1: track the progress on my climbing roses!
So once again i’ve been heavily influenced by instagram. I put this trellis on the side of the house last summer but it was too late in the season for the rose bush to actually climb. I started early this year and bought a second climbing rose variety. Can’t wait to see the results!
Challenges Overcome: just repositioned the first rose bush and made room for the second so they both can use the trellis!
Obstacles Faced: I know that it usually takes 2-3 years for perennial plants to become established. they sleep, creep, then leap! hoping for some cool results still. the bush on the left is over 10 years old so she’s more established than the one on the right
Looking Back: NH is called the granite state for a reason. i think i dug up two huge rocks and about ten smaller ones!
