Edit a Short Film
In 2023 I directed a narrative short film with some of my friends from college. We wrapped shooting in August that year and it has been tabled since. I’d like to finish editing this film by 2026.
Build up my photography business
I love taking photos. Nature and of course action shots during baseball games and other sports. I feel like I have my hand in all different areas of photography right now but nature is my favorite
Build a side passive stream of income with stock photography
I have several cameras collecting dust. (Oy another goal is to get all dusted!) goal has 4 parts. 1. Take more photos.. very commercial and generic styles. 2. Upload to stock photography sites 3. Start a web page for photo prints for purchase of a higher quality. 4. Make enough money to buy a convertor to use my old lenses on my mirrorless camera.
Build a Camera Obscura
Had some boxes lying around. Cut them up and taped them to a window and cut out a hole then put a magnifying glass in the hole and used a board to project the image onto. Had to be close though since the magnifier was pretty low I guess. Also late in the day so low light came through.
take pictures of stuff
the light cast on the wall in gpa's guest room by the gas station next door is always mesmerizing. using the pixel 7's night sight feature, i was able to capture an ideal of this. cropped to balance the brightest reflection with the darkest; brightness and contrast adjusted to ignore some features of the room itself.
