Progress Updates (4 total)

Update #1: Declutter and donate my space

Since moving home my room is absolutely cluttered and I haven’t fully unpacked! It’s embarrassing. I still have clothes from high school I need to get rid of
Obstacles Faced: I have sooo much stuff
Next Steps: I’m going to start one section at a time

Update #2: Sorted ALL my clothing and found what to donate

35% complete
Look at all this stuff! I haven’t worn 50% of my clothes in the last 5 years! Perfectly good sweatshirts, SpongeBob pajamas, socks, underwear. There are even unopened clothes just sitting there! It feels nice to clear this space and I’m happy someone will put these warm clothes to good use this winter.
Obstacles Faced: I don’t have a good way to move everything. I’ll use trash bags for now
Looking Back: Two things help a lot: - having a clear path to get to/from where you’re cleaning - having a dedicated/free space to put the “being sorted” items. That removes a lot of the stress of how to organize a declutter

Update #3: Organized the merch !

70% complete
I had soo much merch sitting in boxes just taking up space! I organized them all. If you ever want to win a hoodie or hat, remember to participate in our Community Challenges!
Challenges Overcome: Brought my clothes to the homeless coalition. This were so happy for the donation! It made me feel good to help too.
Looking Back: It takes time but it’s worth it

Update #4: Feeling clean and decluttered

100% complete
It feels nice cleaning up, organizing, and giving what I don’t need. It feels so much better with my room like this!
Next Steps: Keep things clean immediately! Laundry in the hamper and don’t leave stuff around. That’ll keep my space clean
