Knit Mittens!

by kpedrowrightIn Progress

I’m working my way up the body of the 2nd mitten and am a few rows away from the decreases that close the top.

Knit Colorwork Scarf

by kpedrowrightIn Progress

I finished knitting the scarf and added fringe - the fringe didn’t work out as well as I wanted and it might redo it later, but for now I’ve completed the pattern.

wrap gifts like a pro!

by kbeanIn Progress

I used a new wrapping paper and new colors of ribbon and liked how it had a whimsical vibe

Doodle Daily

by mipsyIn Progress

I didn’t put a lot more time in. I just used a medium I am better with. This is straight out of my imagination. I might draw fruit in a basket tomorrow.

Draw a prompt daily for the month of Jan

by samyukthakIn Progress

Draw a prompt daily for the month of January. The drawings can be simple or complex depending on the time I get each day. If I miss a day, I can do the prompt on the following day. The point is to explore line, form, texture and how each medium used affects mark making,

Finish this cross stitch by next December

by janateachIn Progress

Added three strands. Moving along! Now I need to keep it up! I’m going to downgrade my goal to completing the row. I feel good about it and can then keep from getting overwhelmed.

Learn Intarsia/Knit Pullover

by kpedrowrightCompleted

I finally finished! First I had to add the ribbing to the sleeves and collar. The collar ribbing is knit and the folded over, which gives it a chunkier and more finished look. I weaved in all the ends and wet blocked it. Here’s where it almost went wrong - it wet blocked way bigger than I expected and I thought I ruined the fit. After some research I ended up putting it in the dryer for 2 minute intervals and checking it constantly - after 14 minutes it was the perfect size without ruining the wool!

Crochet a Vintage Blanket as a Gift

by kpedrowrightCompleted

I finished just in time to pack the car for our trip to visit family. I decided to make the border in one of the correct colors and love the effect! I gave it a quick steam block to relax the yarn a bit and it’s ready to wrap.

Perfect the unicorn

by ryanCompleted

Figured out what I was doing wrong, poured the head after the body. Did the legs and tail last since they really take no technical skill, just milk poured flat.

Make a cosplay outfit of an Imperial Tanktrooper

by nbear1In Progress

Small update but feels good to get to this point. Glued the upper and lower helmet pieces together and started test fitting some visor materials. Feels cool to finally wear it. The helmet needs more sanding and finishing before paint but it's coming together.

Knit a Cable Scarf

by kpedrowrightIn Progress

This is a continuous pattern that doesn’t change, I’ll stop when I decide it’s long enough. This is day 3 of cabling every 12 rows.

finish a barcode page

by stassCompleted

this was such a satisfying page to me and it was really fun to remember to take barcodes off of all the products that we bought!

Create Two Paintings

by kiraIn Progress

Not overly happy with this because the background is so uneven, but it will do 🏄🏽‍♀️

Complete a latch hook kit

by heatherIn Progress

Most of this progress was made during the first few days of starting the project. I had to take a few weeks off due to my job getting extra busy, as well as a new puppy and other life things. I was also having trouble with my eyesight (dealing with migraines), so I started using sticky notes to follow each row of the pattern. and got my eyes checked (glasses secured). I made time for a few more rows this weekend and I’ll try to do a little each day, if I can.

Make a handmade item for a baby boy

by mar_marCompleted

I shouldn’t have committed to finishing on a week day. Although it was almost done, I didn’t have the energy to concentrate on it on a Friday evening.

Draw in a stylistic way a tennis woman

by klaiimandCompleted

This was the most enjoyable part of the project. Delving into the details of the drawing, refining the facial features, and continuously composing in the same style is very enriching. I really felt that all the previous steps allowed me to enjoy the drawing; it’s at this final stage that it takes on meaning, and the small details give it substance.

Create something unique

by mar_marCompleted

I work without a plan so hock ups along the way are inevitable. In this case they turned out to be the key to making a truly unique piece of clothing.

Draw anatomically accurate people

by interficiorIn Progress

I've always loved drawing and doodling but never took the steps many artists do to learn anatomy to better their understanding of the human for. I wish to start from scratch and educate myself in the skeletal and muscular systems of the body to enhance my art to the next level.

Perfect Swan Latte Art

by ryanCompleted

Worked with a lot of baristas who offered me advice on my pours, a culmination of their advice brought me here
