Update #1: minor bathroom renovations
10% completemake bathroom nice again! this bathroom hasn't really been touched since we moved in ao it is time for some renovations.
Challenges Overcome: Some stuff has already been done so the updates will be rapid fire.
Obstacles Faced: Budget
Looking Back: I've learned that I hate painting.
Update #2: Repainted
25% completeRepainted the bathroom to a color called Swiss Coffee. it is very nice and a subtle off white color. very warm with the lights we have installed.
Update #3: Replaced vanity light
40% completeThe frame on the old vanity light was starting to rust so I wanted to replace it with a nice new one. this one is also a brushed nickel finish to match the rest of the fittings.
Challenges Overcome: Electrical is solid and im getting more confident in doing minor electrical connections.
Obstacles Faced: none
Looking Back: Nothing much, replaced a light fixture that I had already done before. this one is just better and new.
Update #4: Shower head
65% completeReplaced the old shower head that was corroded with a new one that should be much better!
Challenges Overcome: The shower head looks so much better than the old one.
Obstacles Faced: Had to go out and buy Teflon tape, didn't have any in my toolbox.
Update #5: Towel ring installed
100% completeAdded a towel ring next to the sink. this is the last update I had planned to do for the bathroom, anything else would be a significant project which will have to come later.
Challenges Overcome: Made the bathroom feel brighter and nicer.
Obstacles Faced: Time, never enough time to get everything done like you planned.
Looking Back: Painting requires more patience than I thought.
