Update #1: Play La Vie en Rose on harmonica smoothly

I want to learn how to play La Vie en Rose on the harmonica smoothly. I’ve just bought the harmonica today and taking lessons through YouTube.
Challenges Overcome: Bought the harmonica and have had a few play throughs.

Update #2: Memorised song

30% complete
Memorised the notes, still working on playing single notes and breath work.
Challenges Overcome: The book has been really helpful for how I should be holding the harmonica in my mouth - I was doing it quite wrong last time. The harmonican way is definitely a lot harder to make single notes but I think once I get it correct and used to it, it should be a lot easier to play new songs.
Obstacles Faced: I’m starting to get single notes, but still find it very challenging to get the single notes when moving around the harmonica during the song. The second part of the song is a lot of breaths in, so it’s hard not to need to stop or go through that section too quickly/slowly in order to actually get through it.
Next Steps: Keep practicing single notes and moving around the harmonica.
Looking Back: Been using YouTube tutorials and following along with a book on how to play the harmonica. In the book it uses “harmonican” and “harmonican’t” as terms for the things to do and not do while playing the harmonica.

Update #3: Played La Vie en Rose smoothly

100% complete
Learning the harmonica has been a bit more challenging than I thought, but I’m really excited to continue learning new songs and working on my skills. I think I’m going to try and learn Dirty Old Town by The Pogues next.
Obstacles Faced: Breath work and single notes were the hardest part. And I still haven’t gotten to the point where I’m playing it well each time, but we’re definitely getting there!
Next Steps: Definitely keen to learn more songs and maybe get a couple more harmonicas that are different notes so I’m not limited to songs on the C harmonica
