Update #1: Prepare the ground for a vegetable garden

Gardening is healthy, fun and rewarding once you start enjoying the fruits and veggies
Challenges Overcome: Turn the soil, get rid of weeds, spread and mix some all natural / organic garden foods to enrich the soil.
Obstacles Faced: Weather and steady warm temperatures gradually. Keeping away wild animals that we are surrounded by and of course getting sunny and warm days much needed for a steady growth.
Next Steps: Started own seeds inside the green house.
Looking Back: I learned to overcome the hardship that comes with it in order to achieve success in the process .

Update #2: Starting my vegetables seeds inside our green house

20% complete
The seeds came up very healthy except for couple of beans and sunflowers . May be it was too cold for them .
Next Steps: Wait for a warmer weather/ soil to plant my veggies outside in the garden . Ideally bend of May/ beginning of Kune

Update #3: Planted my veggies in the garden first week of June , as it is the rule of thumb.

50% complete
The warmer days & nights made the soil temperature ready for planting. The garden looks good and healthy.
Challenges Overcome: The veggies started to grow rapidly in the warm soil based on the healthy green leaves.
Obstacles Faced: Keeping wild life away from the garden ; squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, birds and our chickens:)
Next Steps: Water the plants, feed them, get rid of dying/ yellow leaves and get rid of harmful insects and bugs.
Looking Back: Weeding would be my challenge . It’s a continuous and not so fun process.
