Update #1: Knit a Cable Scarf

While I’m waiting on the yarn for my next big project, I’m going to knit a scarf with some of my stash yarn. This is the Classic Cable Scarf by Caroline Bus and it’s my second time knitting this pattern.
Obstacles Faced: I can knit this one quickly since I’m familiar with the pattern but I can quickly injure muscles from repetitive movement
Looking Back: The cable needle is easier to use on 8 stitches than 2 or 3 like the last cable pattern I completed

Update #2: Day 3 of cabling

20% complete
This is a continuous pattern that doesn’t change, I’ll stop when I decide it’s long enough. This is day 3 of cabling every 12 rows.
Obstacles Faced: I’m using stash yarn for this, so I realized that there’s actually 2 different dye lots in this ball, making the colors slightly different. I decided to let it ride and make it a striped scarf instead of frogging it and going back. Using stash yarn promotes sustainability, so who cares if it’s striped!
