I am making this for my husband who was in EMS
Challenges Overcome: About halfway through
Obstacles Faced: Time, boredom, distraction
Next Steps: Complete a thread each day if I can.
Looking Back: That I have arthritis and I got treatment so I can work again without too much pain.

Update #2: Added a lot!

Got a lot filled in! Also realized I misread a color and have to pull some stitches tomorrow and replace. Two steps forward, one step back.
Challenges Overcome: Made a lot of progress on my row.
Obstacles Faced: Read the pattern wrong and mixed up dark blue and dark pink.
Next Steps: Pull dark blues and replace.
Looking Back: I think I should re goal to a row or square at a time.

Update #3: Pulled dark blue and replaced with dark pink

I had a symbol that looked very similar from one color to another and mixed them up. Refilled spaces but found another error.
Challenges Overcome: Figured out that reloading the needle helps lower the starting cost.
Obstacles Faced: Mistakes.
Next Steps: Add missing color in my section and remove red thread and correct that error.
Looking Back: Be careful with charting but kind to yourself.

Update #4: Added three colors

15% complete
Added three strands. Moving along! Now I need to keep it up! I’m going to downgrade my goal to completing the row. I feel good about it and can then keep from getting overwhelmed.
