Update #1: Fix my ankle pronation (pinnacle max inserts)
I've always walked pronated. I used to have orthotics but I out grew them. I recently went to a podiatrist to see what he thinks I should do and how to fix it.
I will be recording my runs as I'm testing out the pinnacle max inserts for the next two weeks.
Challenges Overcome: I went to the podiatrist, got recommended inserts, and have been tracking runs.
In the image, the blue arrows are my left foot stride, the red are my right foot stride, and the white is the ideal future stride.
Update #2: Went on a baseline run with new running shoes and no inserts
20% completethe image from last progress is based upon my running stride taken from this video.
I want to see how my stride evolves over time when adding the inserts in future runs
Update #3: First run with inserts
40% completeThe first run felt more difficult than normal with pain/noticeable impact from the outside of my knees to tightness in my calf’s
Update #4: Been running consistently
100% completeAfter consistently running since moving to Copenhagen, and only using pinnacle max inserts, I will say that my pronation has become much better.
