Make an acceptable pupusa
Not perfect by any means, a little dry, but the goal was to make an acceptable pupusa, not a perfect pupusa, so I say that’s a goal achieved 🤷♂️
Make a Birthday Cake for my Friend
I gently placed the flowers on top of the cake and made sure that they were securely attached.
Make a Two Tiered Cake
Purchased more supplies to add to my collection! 👩🏽🍳 The two most important things I bought were: 1) a small cake tin (so I can stack cakes of different sizes), and 2) dowels (to support the tiers)
Make a 2-Foot Pancake Tower
This was an insane turnout as I really didn’t expect it to have it look as it does.
Make a 2-Foot Nacho Tower
We stacked it with the classic nacho ingredients with homemade salsa lava to get this party started!
Make Homemade Pumpkin Pie
Just added spices to the pumpkin purée and made it into pie!
Perfecting sourdough bread
Added cinnamon raisin and let it proof on the counter all day. I added the cinnamon and raisin later in the proof and worked on folding it in to try to distribute through loaf.
Make Giant Takis
Just finished a bunch of giant Takis after frying them all for about an hour total.
Make a 100 Pound Dubai Chocolate
I finally finished the chocolate. We all ate it

Recreate the Klondike Choco Taco at home
After freezing again, this is how they came out, I would say this was definitely a success! They tasted amazing if I may say so myself!
make charcuterie boards that look too good to eat
Bought a really cool platter for presenting charcuterie and stepped my game up with colors and textures!
Make Sourdough Bread
My original starter died so I had to cultivate a new one. Doing so, I baked a very solid loaf by loosely following the recipe below. I don’t have a Dutch oven so I had to make some of my own modifications: - I used a cake tin - I put a pot of water in the oven as well so provide the extra moisture that was missing from the dutch oven - although the bread rose well, I needed to keep it in the oven for probably another 10-15 minutes. - also, the parchment paper (not shown here) stuck to the sides of the bread and cause uneven crisping of the crust so I will probably not use it next time. Maybe I’ll just check a Dutch oven. With that said, though, it tasted great and I’m happy with the result :)
Make better tasting coffee in the Moka Pot
1. Make sure pot doesn’t leak from too much water or coffee 2. Coffee doesn’t taste burnt
Make sourdough bagels
Fun project to make when having time. Takes 24 hours to finish, and the results is delicious.
learn how to chop vegetables like a chef
I love to watch chefs as they cook, in particular when they chop vegetables fast and with precision. I'd like to master this skill too. I hope my veggies will cook more evenly when well chopped.
Lunch Salad
I’m wrapping up the salad goal so I move on to eating more complex carbs and fiber. Hard to do that with salads, but overall I’m feeling quite good about my salad making abilities now
Try A New Instant Pot Recipe Every Weekend
Able to cook chicken, beef or soup on pressure cooker
Eating Good Dinner At Home
I'm no longer stressed out about cooking at home, and I can efficiently make a salad with enough protein. Been eating similar dinner for 3 months now lol
Chicken sandwiches
I stopped following recipes, which is a bad move. These sandwiches after the first 2 are horrific, and I decided that’s the best recipes.
